After taking her maternity portraits and talking with this sweet mama for months, I was just beside myself with excitement to meet her precious daughter when she arrived!! This little one has the most incredible eyelashes and her parents completely wrapped around her tiny fingers…as it should be! This session was such a dream. Baby girl slept nearly the whole entire time which gave me lots of opportunity for those sweet, curly poses. She even gave us a few smiles! And baby smiles are on my all time favorite list…along with wrinkly toes of course. Congratulations again to this beautiful family of three!
I absolutely couldn’t wait for this couple to arrive so we could get started. We had a beautiful fall day and some gorgeous leaves just waiting to be used for a backdrop. I love having photo sessions at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens throughout the year, but sometimes in the fall you get extra lucky with some fantastic bright trees. This mom and dad to be were incredibly sweet and all smiles during their shoot. You can tell their baby girl is going to be one loved, spoiled little one! I had the best time at this session and I cannot wait for their sweet girl to arrive!!
It was crazy difficult to choose my favorites from 2015!! Here are just a few of the beautiful smiling faces, teeny tiny toes, and wispy haired toddlers I had the joy of working with this year. I feel so incredibly blessed to have this job…Snuggling babies? Running and jumping with families and kiddos?! It just doesn’t get any better than that!! Hope you all had a blessed and Happy New Year and you are entering 2016 with anticipation and JOY! It’s a whole new year, people!! Oh, the possibilities…
Just a few weeks after their gorgeous wedding, the newlyweds invited us over for lunch and (unbeknownst to us at the time) to reveal even more exciting news! I couldn’t believe my little sister was a mama!! And oh, to see their joy when they revealed that their little one was a little princess! I was thrilled to help them share their awesome news with these gender reveal photos, and then to document her beautiful bump a few months later! Sweet, joyful parents, and a GORGEOUS baby girl (to be shown in a later post of course (: ) Enjoy this blog takeover to show the journey for my sis and BIL. Love you three!!
The Fort Worth Botanic Gardens are always a good choice for a photo session(:
I’m so happy to be sharing a maternity session for these beautiful people! Pretty sure they just couldn’t be any sweeter! I loved capturing these moments before little sister was born and I can’t wait to share her newborn session a little later! (Spoiler alert: She is super adorable!!!) Big brother was just a doll too and enjoyed the fun surprise of seeing the Easter bunny who just happened to be at the park at the same time. (See second photo: ) ) You just never know what you may encounter at a session, but that’s part of the fun, right?! Thanks again, F family!
This session was by far the brightest, most colorful session to date! This was our solution to a mama who wanted maternity photos, but didn’t want to suffer the Texas heat at 36 weeks pregnant…definitely don’t blame her! I was so excited to do this session for my lovely sister-in-law and her beautiful family! I just love the primary color outfits she chose, big sister had a blast on the carousel, and we did it all without breaking a sweat. Definitely a WIN!
One thing that absolutely makes my day is hearing from a past client who wants to work with me again! I have been blessed to work with the P family for not one, not two, but three sessions! It has been such a joy watching this family through the “babies are coming soon” time, to meeting their sweet twins, to celebrating them at three months old! I wanted to share just a few favorites from each session. Their newborn session was also my very first time photographing newborn TWINS! They are certainly doubly blessed with these cuties. Thanks again, P family!!
