There’s something special about stepping into a house with a newborn. When I go to meet a newborn client or even a friend who’s just had a baby, I honestly get butterflies as I walk to the door. It’s that anticipation and quiet excitement before meeting a brand new, precious soul…a new family member to love and cherish! I was so happy for this sweet mama and daddy…their first child…a daughter!!! I was met with proud smiles as they introduced me to their baby girl. She was absolutely beautiful with an amazing head of full dark hair and tiny little features. And oh, how they loved on her!! I could have stayed all day to capture the way they looked at the tiny, new love of their lives. Also, can I say that any family that gives their little one the hashtag #theheiress, is pretty darn cool?! 🙂 Thank you again for welcoming me into your home so I could create these memories for you and meet your little one. Clearly she is meant for big things!

Just Dance | Fort Worth Family Photographer

Beautiful leaves, sunshine, a gorgeous little red head, and a mama and dad who are practically still newlyweds (see photos towards the end). All these things made this an amazing session and I am definitely craving these lovely colors again! (Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for Spring and Summer too.)  I always hope you will feel comfortable enough to just relax and love on your family at a session. Most of the time, I’ll ask you to look at each other, not at the black box in front of my face 😉 I love when true personalities shine through. This sweet one loves dancing and music!! My favorite is when her daddy played a song on his phone at the end and she busted a move (last photo.) Lots of love to these sweet three!! I’d love y’all even if we weren’t family ❤

Oooh, these three!! I was lucky enough to get to capture some of his first few days and I was just as excited to see them again for an outdoor session! It is amazing how fast they change in just a short amount of time! My sweet little niece is one and just getting so big!! I was so excited to do these photos for her in the same place where her mom and dad did her gender reveal!! The morning sunlight in this location always makes me swoon and I just couldn’t get enough of little one’s sweet scrunchy nose smile! Ah! Time just flies when you’re chasing a baby, right?! My sister and BIL have fit a whole lot of life in less than two years of marriage and I’ve loved getting to help capture this little sweetie from day 1! (Newborn post here) Though it’s been crazy for them, I love seeing the joy on their faces and how absolutely in love they are with their girl. Love you three so much!!

It is so wonderful when a friend contacts you for a session and this sweet mama I’ve known since high school. We played tennis together actually! I was excited to get to take her sweet girl’s newborn photos and so very happy to do updated photos for them this spring! I was absolutely in love with the gorgeous sunshine and this little one’s beautiful eyes!! Wrapped | Fort Worth Newborn Photographer

After taking her maternity portraits and talking with this sweet mama for months, I was just beside myself with excitement to meet her precious daughter when she arrived!! This little one has the most incredible eyelashes and her parents completely wrapped around her tiny fingers…as it should be! This session was such a dream. Baby girl slept nearly the whole entire time which gave me lots of opportunity for those sweet, curly poses. She even gave us a few smiles! And baby smiles are on my all time favorite list…along with wrinkly toes of course. Congratulations again to this beautiful family of three!

Most kids have a bit of a silly side, right? After a bit of a warm up, it turned out that this particular little guy was just BURSTING with personality from the bottom of his shoes to the ends of his awesome curly locks! I just loved getting to meet him after not having seen his mom and dad in so many years. He would make the most incredible faces (which had me cracking up) and then a minute later, would melt into the sweetest hugs and smiles with his parents. I love LOVE getting to capture all the sweet, silly, goofy, and heartfelt moments with little ones!! Thanks for all the fun, W Family!

These three. Oh, goodness, they make me smile!! I hadn’t seen this pretty mama since college and definitely hadn’t met her husband or (adorable) baby so I was just so happy when she contacted me for photos!! It was early December, so super overcast, but it didn’t even matter thanks to some sunny smiles and precious baby giggles. I love that they brought a Christmas book for their little guy…it added such a personal touch and sweet interactions to their session.
