Beautiful leaves, sunshine, a gorgeous little red head, and a mama and dad who are practically still newlyweds (see photos towards the end). All these things made this an amazing session and I am definitely craving these lovely colors again! (Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for Spring and Summer too.) I always hope you will feel comfortable enough to just relax and love on your family at a session. Most of the time, I’ll ask you to look at each other, not at the black box in front of my face 😉 I love when true personalities shine through. This sweet one loves dancing and music!! My favorite is when her daddy played a song on his phone at the end and she busted a move (last photo.) Lots of love to these sweet three!! I’d love y’all even if we weren’t family ❤
I absolutely couldn’t wait for this couple to arrive so we could get started. We had a beautiful fall day and some gorgeous leaves just waiting to be used for a backdrop. I love having photo sessions at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens throughout the year, but sometimes in the fall you get extra lucky with some fantastic bright trees. This mom and dad to be were incredibly sweet and all smiles during their shoot. You can tell their baby girl is going to be one loved, spoiled little one! I had the best time at this session and I cannot wait for their sweet girl to arrive!!
We got to spend time with this lovely family this weekend and I was reminded that I never posted their photos from a few months ago! They get bigger and cuter every time I see them!! I was so happy we were able to get a few updated photos for them last fall with the newest member of the family…baby L!! Sister wasn’t really having it during our little session (and I can’t blame her since we were all being eaten alive by mosquitos!! Same magical location as last year, but man, the bugs were pretty unbearable this time…darn you, tall grass!) so we kept it quite short. I was able to capture a few of her awesome smiles and fun personality though when we got back to their house. If you know this family, you know they’ve been through an awful lot this past year. Through their trials, they have taught me more about what true love and perseverance really looks like, and I know they have inspired so many to truly live each day to the fullest. This is one amazing mama for sure! We are all so blessed to have her, sweet baby L, and all five of them in our lives!
When this mama and I started talking about their family session, she suggested they have it right at their house. I typically like to take a family to a park or other open area but she said their home was just “so them” and I loved that! I love that we were able to capture these images at the place they spend the most time, the place they make so many other memories together, the place that is “so them!” It was such a fun front-porch session with sweet little girls and lovely fall light. Full of joy and happy in their own space. She even asked me to come back next year to do the same thing so they can see how their family has grown and incorporate the home they love. What a great idea! Thanks, friends, and I’m looking forward to next year!
I love these people! Besides the fact that they are super cute and fun to photograph, they are family! I was so happy to get the chance to do a photo shoot for them. The last time we did this, my niece was not even born yet. Now this sweet girl is one (where did that year go?!) and when I visited for her birthday, we were able to sneak out for a quick session. This spot was actually just a cluster of trees next to a church parking lot but I love the shots we were able to get! Just goes to show that you don’t need a super fancy location when the light is good! SO much love here 🙂 Thanks again for being such great models, y’all!
I just loved meeting this family! We had a beautiful evening, happy people, and gorgeous fall light…what more could you want?! This mama contacted me and wanted a fun session with some posed, and some natural photos and I think we were able to do just that. We ran and played and laughed at how awesome two year old P was at not staying still (same as most two year olds) and I love the images we got from it! It is pretty clear how much this mom and dad love their little boy. Thanks, B Family!!
